Dundalk F.C are proud to announce the new partnership with Rocksalt which will see the local business become the club’s official Good Food Partner.

The partnership will see Rocksalt, ‘The Home of Good Food’, provide daily meals for the players and staff at Oriel Park, as well as offering supporters a variety of coffee, snacks and tasty meals when they return to ‘The Home of Football.’

“We are delighted to become Dundalk FC’s Good Food Partner for the 2021 season,” said Rocksalt owner Daniel McLoughlin. “We will be working very closely with the players and coaching team to provide delicious healthy and nutritious meals throughout the week to keep the lads fuelled and in great condition.

“We are also looking forward to bringing a taste of Rocksalt to Oriel Park when the fans return to the stadium. We will have something special to welcome them back with our 1960’s Citroen HY vintage food truck ‘Rocky’ serving coffee, snacks, and tasty meals for everyone to enjoy.”

Opened in the summer of 2018, Rocksalt has become an integral part of the local community in Blackrock and in the heart of Dundalk town where the business opened its second restaurant on Earl Street in February 2020.

“This partnership is recognition of the quality of our food and the service we have been providing in Blackrock and Dundalk,” said Daniel. “As a relatively new business, it’s been a fantastic journey to date and together with Dundalk FC we now have a great future ahead as we continue to improve our services to the local community.

“On a personal note, I’m delighted to be able to work with Dundalk FC and hopefully play our part in the team’s success moving forward. As a boyhood fan, the club has always had a special place in my heart and it’s great to be able to bring my hospitality and culinary experience back to the town. It’s a dream matchup for me and we will be working very hard to create an amazing foodie experience for both players and fans alike.
